Another practice was held at Coquille Tuesday after school No scores wore kept but the teams are quit* evenly matched. The first basket ball league game of the season was played on our floor with Ooos River Saturday night. The large auditorium was packed with loyal supporters of both teams as well as many others from nearby towns. Coos Rievr has a very strong team but was handicapped by having one of its beet men ill. so they lost to us by a score of 40 to 18.
