Attention was called to the Washington Bi-centennial program which starts February 22, 1932, and continues until Thanksgiving of the same year. This celebration will be carried on throughout the nation and many activities will bo given in honor of that occasion. In commemoration of this occasion the Woman’s Club wish to secure the consent of the school board to plant an American elm tree on the grounds surrounding the I Washington School building of Co Assortment.
