SOCIAL NOTES LIBERTY THEATRE Mrs. Earl Nosier entertained I Ecadrien club members Monday luncheon at her home on Sanford Heights. During the afternoon the ladies made plans for their Christmas dinner party and gift exchange which will be held a', the home of Mr. and Mrs. RoyNoal on East Second street December 20th. Willard This evening the Just-a-mere club ladies are entertaining their husbands with a Christmas party and turkey dinner at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Frank L. Greenough on the Marshfield highway. The two large dinner tables were decorated with a fruit centerpiee and red tapers along with sprays of holly. Hearts will be the diversion of the evening. Places are provided for Messrs, and Mesdames L. H. Hazard, O. C. Sanford, R. A. Wernich, Paul Van Scoy, Nels Osmundaon, Lyman Carrier, C. J. Fuhrman, H. A. Young, W. S. Sickels, M. O. Hawkina, J. A. Lamb, Bert Folsom, J. L. Smith and Frank L. Greenough. An enjoyable evening waa spent on Wednesday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Tracy Leach by members of their bridge club. After several hands of cards with high score held by Mr. and Mrs. Zosel and consolation by Mr. and Mis. McGuire, a delicious lunch was served to Messrs, and Mesdames Geo. Johnson, William Zosel, Theodore Clinton, Earl Nosier, Frank Thrift and George McGuire. After church services at St. James Episcopal Church Sunday evening, which Bishop Walter T. Sumner con ducted, a reception was held in his honor at the Parish house. About sixty attended and enjoyed sevdHl musical numbers. M m . E. A. Wood yard sang two solos and Miss Anne Barton rendered a piano polo, both of which were much enjoyed. Bishop Shmner also furnished a part of ths program with his favorite •election, Refreshment« were served after the program. Mrs. Henry H. Oerding and Mrs. Letha Hale gave an interesting Bridge party Tuesday evening at the home of Mrs. Hale on South Elliott street.
