ARRY STEWART NORTON, Proprietor, H. a Norton’s
Music & Stationery Store, is 34 years of age and was born
in Grand Junction, Colorado, of American parentage. He
has three sisters and his father, J. E. Norton, is proprietor of the
Busy Corner Grocery and is also Coos County Representative to
the State Legislature. Mr. Norton came to Coquille with his par­
ents in 1911. He is a graduate of the Coquille High School and
attended Oregon State College. He worked for his father for
eleven years but for the past two years has been proprietor of the
music and stationery store.

Mr. Norton is married, has three daughters, and is affili­
ated with the Masonic Lodge. He alvises that his favorite sport
is baseball and that his hobby is music. Mr. Norton is a member
of the chamber of commerce and plays saxophone in the Coquille
Band. If he was financially independent he advises he would
study music for a profession. If he had a restart in business, he
would choose music and stationery.
