Simmons was the de lightful luncheon hostess yesterday afternoon at her home on the Marsh field highway to the members of the “Needlewqrkers" ?lqb. Met. The library committee of the Co quille Woqian’s Club wiH hold a bridge party and entertainment Thursday evening, October 30th, in the new ban quet hall of the Coquille Hotel. Both ladies and gentlemen are invited. The proceeds are to be used for new books for the City Library. This week the committee will pur chase books for the children’s corner >f the library with the money earned at the bridge parties held last spring. The names pf these books will toe winted in next week's Sentinel. Coquille is growing fast, so a great many books are needed to meet the increasing demands at the library.
