PAM NINE Coquille Valley Lumber Co wishes to announce that it has moved its retail lumber office to the Johnson Mill property on Front St. and will fill all orders as formerly (Continued from first par») opinion that Cooa County to liablo to the workmen who were employed on I the Coos County projects and who worked more than eight hours in any day or forty-eight hours in one week, for double time for such work. It is my further opinion that Coos County officials who allowed these claims to remain unpaid are not crim inally liable, but that the persons either in authority at the time the [work was performed would be subject to fine or imprisonment for the viola tion of the eight hour statute." We, therefore hold that the com promised settlement effected in this Matter was for the best interests of the county and we sincerely regret the necessity of paying such claim« which should never have been incur red. Very truly yours, D. P. Thompson, County Judge. Little ([vantages’? Benjamin Franklin once said, “Human felicity is produced not so much by great pieces of good fortune that seldom happen, as by little ad vantages that occur every day.” An account with this bank is one of those “little advantages" which bulk large in the sum total of one’s good fortune.
