county farmers.

Boys’ and Girls’ dub Work
The following clubs have been or
ganised and assisted in their work
this' year:
Calf Clubs—Coos River, Catching
Inlet, Arago and Norway.
Potato Club—Sitkum.
Corn Club—McKinley.
Garden Club—Bridge, Coos River.
The enrollment was made up of
six girls and 86 boys. A large per
centage of these have completed the
year's work. Thirty-five calves were
exhibited at the County fair and five
of the first place wiiinere were taken
to the State Fair at Salem.
Three
stock' judging teams were trained.
Coos River Pig Club stock judging
team was taken to ths State Fair and
the Arago Calf Club team to the Pa
cific International at Portland.
Entomology and Plant Pathology
Mr. Rockwood, of the U. 8. Depart-1
ment of Agricuture, made two trips to
the county to study the cutworm in-I
festation.

Judges were supplied for Parkersburg
Community Fair.
The main office of the County Agent
has been maintained in the Court
House, Coquille, and a branch office
in the Chamber of Commerce rooms,
Marshfield. Office days are Monday
at the Coquille office and Saturday at
the Marshfield office.

farms were visited, 1888 indi-
vidual letters written, and 17 circulars
with a total of 10,200 copies mailed.
Office calls, relating to Extension
work, nmnbered 1820 and telephone
calls 722.
Ninety-seven meetings
with a total attendance of 2821 were
held.
