Santa Claus Is Comin’ to Town
A lanky mailman with the voice of Fred Astaire ex-
plains Santa’s origins in this animated 1970 special,
which sidesteps the St. Nicholas part. In this version,
the future jolly old elf is a foundling adopted by the
Kringles, a family of toymakers. He grows up with toys
in his blood, so to speak, and feels called to give them
away to the local youngsters — but mean old Burger-
meister Meisterburger will have none of that.

Christina on the Coast
Christina meets a couple who wish for a main floor
overhaul that boasts an open concept and a bright,
airy vibe in the Season 4 premiere. A dream kitchen
will anchor the space and feature a wine bar, state-
ment rattan light fixtures and vaulted ceilings with
exposed wood beams while dealing with her own bus-
tling family life. Adding to the season lineup, Christina
will help repeat clients give their dated bathrooms a
modern upgrade and design a resort-worthy pool for
her contractor.

Mountain Men
They like to call this the “bear” minimum. Mike Horst-
man makes a death-defying climb up and down the
cliffs of Kodiak Island leading to a showdown with a
rather skittish brown bear. Then, Jake Herak and his
hounds turn loose on a black bear that leads them up
a gauntlet of falling rock and steep terrain in the Sea-
son 11 final episode “Final Face Off.”

Movie: Scentsational Christmas
Perfumer Ellie (Nazneen Contractor) is tasked by her
boss to create a holiday scent that will impress, so
she returns to her quaint and festive family home for
Christmas to find inspiration. There she meets Logan
(Mykee Selkin), who is staying with her father at the
family’s historic property, which includes her mother’s
former candle-making cottage. As her father struggles
to keep her late mother’s candle business afloat, they
decide to complete the orders in this 2022 romance.

CMA Country Christmas
Country music has a long history of celebrating the
holiday season through music — and sharing those
moments with fans. Filmed in Nashville, this new spe-
cial features some of country music’s most beloved
artists coming together for an intimate night full of holi-
day classics such as “Oh Holy Night,” “Have a Holly
Jolly Christmas” and “Winter Wonderland.” If you want
an early Christmas present with a hint of a twang, feel
free to sing along.

In what is Kelli Giddish’s last episode as Detective
Amanda Rollins, you can’t deny that the character ex-
perienced a full arc over the course of her 11 seasons.

dealt with a gambling addiction. And now she’s in a re-
lationship with assistant district attorney Sonny Carisi
(Peter Scanavino). How will Rollins exit?
