Warm up the big screen TV and get yourself a
cold drink because the world-famous Macy’s
Thanksgiving Parade will once again delight New
York City spectators and a national television
audience with its signature mix of giant character
balloons, fantastic floats, marching bands, perfor-
mance groups, celebrities, clowns and the one-
and-only Santa Claus. Savannah Guthrie, Hoda
Kotb and Al Roker host.

NFL Football
The parade is over, the bird is in the oven and
now it’s time for another Thanksgiving Day tradi-
tion — NFL. Today’s tripleheader kicks off in
Detroit, where Jared Goff and the Lions play host
to Josh Allen and the AFC East-leading Buffalo
Bills. Then in late afternoon on Fox, NFC East ri-
vals collide when Daniel Jones and the New York
Giants drop in on Cooper Rush and the Dallas
Cowboys. And in prime time on NBC, Kirk Cous-
ins and the NFC North-leading Minnesota Vikings
defend home turf from Mac Jones and the New
England Patriots.

The National Dog Show
If you’re interested in guilting your dog into be-
coming a better version of him- or herself, you
need to tune into this NBC Thanksgiving Day tra-
dition hosted by John O’Hurley, former “Seinfeld”
star and winner of “Dancing with the Stars.” David
Frei, “the dean of dog show commentators” will
also be behind the mic as we watch some of the
top dogs in the country compete for treats and
prizes.

Movie: My Southern Family Christmas
Under the guise of being a journalist, Campbell
(Moira Kelly) has a chance to get to know her
biological father (Bruce Campbell) for the first time
— without him ever knowing who she really is. As
she spends time with him and his family, as well
as with the town’s record keeper, she realizes that
families are messy, wonderful things. In the end,
Campbell must decide if she’s going to keep her
identity a secret or reveal the truth to her father in
this 2022 TV movie.

Movie: Baking All the Way
Julia Wilson (Cory Lee), an accomplished pastry
chef from Chicago, heads to a small town bakery
famous for their gingerbread to complete her up-
coming Christmas cookbook. There she finds her-
self at odds with Kris Thompson (Yannick Bisson),
the bakery’s charming but private owner, who is
ambivalent about sharing his secret recipe in this
2022 romance.
