Oh yeah, we had one. I grew up in a pretty small town in New Jersey and we had a Blockbuster in our town, in our shopping center by the Shop Rite. And I remember where it was. It looked exactly like our set on the show does (laughs) and that was a part of growing up, those weekends where you’d go on Friday night. Everyone would go and pick out a movie for the weekend and my brother and I would fight over which movies we wanted to get. “The Great British Baking Show: Holidays” Sugar, butter and chocolate will be decking the halls as competitors from past seasons return to give their all in the hopes of impressing the judging panel of Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith with their sweet Yuletide treats as this acclaimed culinary series from across the pond returns for its fifth season. (ORIGINAL) OF ‘BLOCKBUSTER’ ON NETFLIX And I remember going as a teenager by myself a few times and I feel like my teen years was when it started to kind of phase out and I remember it might have closed when I was in college. And at the time, being like, “Oh yeah, well that makes sense. Now we get our DVDs in the mail.” Like I was an early Netflix customer where I used to get the DVDs in the mail (laughs) and I go, “Oh, that’s easier.” But then as more time goes on, you go, “Oh man, I kind of miss going to the video store, that experience.” Will you get an opportunity to direct an episode of “Blockbuster” at some point? Well, I’ve directed a few other shows, and what I learned on “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” was I love directing. I’m actually in prep right now to direct another episode on “Grand Crew” but I hate acting and directing at the same time (laughs). I’m not built for it. I don’t like it. It’s not fun and it’s very stressful and I feel like I’m doing both jobs not to the best of my ability. So I don’t know if I would pursue it on “Blockbuster.” I think for now I’m kind of interested in keeping them separate.
