this 2022 thriller about a climber
(Brittany Ashworth, “Hostile”) who
captures her best friend’s murder on
camera, then is forced to ascend a
treacherous cliff with the killers in close
pursuit. Ben Lamb, Louis Boyer and
Nathan Welsh also star.
“Movie: Queens of Pain”
Cassie Hay (“The Liberators”) and Amy
Winston are co-directors of this 2020
documentary that follows three women
at different stages of life — Suzy
Hotrod, Evilicious, and Captain Smack
Sparrow — as they struggle to balance
their lives in New York City with the
dedication and stamina needed to
maintain their place on the world’s best
roller derby team.
“Movie: I Melt With You”
“Maggie”
The past becomes the present for several
pals from college — played by Thomas
Jane (“Hung”), Rob Lowe, Jeremy Piven
and Christian McKay — in this 2011
drama. During their annual get-together,
they dredge up an agreement they made
in their younger days, and their effort to
fulfill it takes surprising and unfortunate
turns. Co-stars include Carla Gugino,
Arielle Kebbel, Melora Hardin and
Sasha Grey.
Rebecca Rittenhouse plays the title
character of this 13-episode comedy
about a young woman whose psychic
gift enables her to see into the future of
friends, family, clients and even random
people on the street. But when she
has an encounter with an unexpected
stranger, she gets flashes of her own
destiny — and how any relationship
might play out. David Del Rio also
