The proposed scope of work will complete key building restorations and improvements for the Liberty Theatre, located at 1010 Adams Avenue in La Grande, OR, in order to return the theatre to operation. The LTF has completed Phases I and II of construction, which included the first wave of façade restora- tion activities, as well as the demolition of the interior to prepare the theatre for restoration and asbestos abatement. Phase III included preparing the theatre for an occupancy permit, which the LTF now plans to have acquired by the end of Q3 2022. The LTF will then now turn its attention to Phase IV. These EDA grant funds would be used for final refurbishment of the theatre. It will including final plumbing fix- tures, electrical work, wall and floor finishing, final carpentry, and finish work on the roughed-out exterior canopy. With this funding, the Liberty Theatre can realize its goal of a grand opening in late-2022 or early- 2023.
