NOTICE OF PUBLIC BID City of La Grande by Stella Wilder FRIDAY, JUNE 24, 2022 YOUR BIRTHDAY by Stella Wilder Born today, you are likely to know, or have a very keen hunch, where you belong in life -- professionally or personally. What is diffi- cult for you, however, is that you aren’t likely to know, with the anything like the same clar- ity or confidence, how to get there -- and that is sure to be the central theme of your life. Indeed, when all is said and done, you may discover that you never did reach your intend- ed destination. SATURDAY, JUNE 25 CANCER (June 21-July 22) -- Your good ideas are only as good, in truth, as what they yield to you in the way of accomplishment and reward. You’re onto something today! LEO (July 23-Aug. 22) -- You’ve denied your responsibility for something in the recent past for long enough. Today, coming clean is your first and best option. VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22) -- Some may disagree with you, but you have a knack for dealing with stubborn issues, and today you think you know how to get someone moving again. LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22) -- Before you think about giving orders to others, focus on yourself and what you must do. Circumstances are changing; you must be flexible. SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21) -- The last thing you want is to conflict with someone who is better prepared for such an encounter than you are. Steer clear of perceived threats. SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21) -- You and a partner may come to realize today than you’re the only ones who can address a certain situation effectively. The time is now. CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19) -- There needn’t be any escalation of tension or hard feelings today, as you’re in a position that allows you to defuse a situation at will. AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18) -- You can rely on yourself in a way that you have resisted recently, but know not why. Today, your con- fidence and abilities are surely increasing. PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20) -- You have a schedule to keep and you mustn’t let anyone stop you from being where you have planned to be at the appointed hour today. ARIES (March 21-April 19) -- You may be tempted to conceal the truth from someone who is asking for an honest account of things -- but you must tell it like it happened! TAURUS (April 20-May 20) -- The more you try to push someone into a weaker posi- tion today, the more you’ll find yourself slip- ping up. Avoid this conflict! GEMINI (May 21-June 20) -- Your options may seem rather ordinary to you at first, but later in the day, you’ll realize that circum- stances have changed in a dramatic way.
