“Movie:
The Mountain Between Us”
Director Hany Abu-Assad’s 2017 survival
drama stars Idris Elba and Kate Winslet as,
respectively, neurosurgeon Ben Bass and
journalist Alex Martin, who board a small
private plane to Salt Lake City after their
original flights are grounded by a storm.
Unfortunately, their fragile aircraft crashes
in the vast expanse of Utah’s High Uintas
Wilderness.
“Movie: The Brass Teapot”
“Pistol”
“The Orville: New Horizons”
This 2012 fantasy tackles the notion that
money cures all ills. Juno Temple and Mi-
chael Angarano play a couple who seemed
to have it made when they married but have
been facing challenges since. They end up at
an antique shop where the title teapot could
prove the solution to their problems — or
generate even more troubles for them. Alex-
is Bledel and Alia Shawkat co-star.
Former Sex Pistols guitarist Steve Jones’
memoir “Lonely Boy: Tales from a Sex
Pistol” served as the basis for six-episode
limited series about a turbulent time in mu-
sic history when his band helped usher in a
punk revolution in Great Britain. Toby Wal-
lace (“Babyteeth”) stars as Jones, in a cast
with Jacob Slater, Anson Boon, Christian
Lees and Louis Partridge. (ORIGINAL)
Seth MacFarlane’s epic space adventure se-
ries returns for its third round to find the
crew of the U.S.S. Orville continuing their
mission of exploration, as they navigate the
mysteries of the universe and the complexi-
ties of their own interpersonal relationships.
MacFarlane, Adrianne Palicki, Penny John-
son Jerald and Scott Grimes head the cast.
