YOUR BIRTHDAY by Stella Wilder
Born today, you are such a wildly creative
individual that it is anyone’s guess, at any
given time, what they might find you working
on -- and, indeed, there are times when you
may surprise even yourself by jumping
wholeheartedly into something you’ve never
done or doing something seemingly routine
in a way that has never been tried. You do
what your imagination compels you to do,
and you are rarely, if ever, limited by any
notion of what others might want you to do
or of how others might want you to do it.
MONDAY, MAY 16
TAURUS (April 20-May 20) -- You must
alert others to something that only you have
noticed so far. If no one responds, you’ll have
a tricky situation on your hands.
GEMINI (May 21-June 20) -- Count up
the reasons you’ve come up with for doing a
certain thing today, and you’ll understand
just how necessary it is. Don’t hold back.
CANCER (June 21-July 22) -- You may
not be looking forward to receiving feedback
on a certain past endeavor, but what you learn
will serve you well in future attempts.
LEO (July 23-Aug. 22) -- You’re going to
have to deal with the consequences of a recent
entanglement, especially if you haven’t quite
sorted it out to your satisfaction.
VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22) -- You receive a
boost today from someone who understands,
perhaps more than you do, what you’re trying
to accomplish. You get a head start.
LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22) -- You can learn
a great deal more from watching someone
struggle with a certain situation than you can
from dealing with it yourself.
SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21) -- You may
find that many of the usual rules do not apply
today -- but that doesn’t mean you can do
anything you want. Be mindful of others!
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21) --
Information isn’t likely to come to you very
quickly today, in part because you haven’t yet
set up an efficient way to receive it.
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19) -- You
mustn’t pay so much attention to what others
are doing and saying that you are careless in
your own work. You must avoid mistakes.
AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18) -- The fall-
out from a recent decision is difficult to han-
dle today -- but a friend steps in and helps you
clear the way forward just in time.
PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20) -- You’ve been
doing a great deal to prove that self-esteem is
justified, and today others should come to
that conclusion at last.
ARIES (March 21-April 19) -- You’ve been
underestimating your power lately, but today
you’ll have the chance to do something that
puts it on display.
MONDAY, MAY 16, 2022
YOUR BIRTHDAY by Stella Wilder
Born today, you are one of the most color-
ful individuals born under your sign, and
though you are often going to find yourself on
display in some way, that doesn’t mean others
are going to know all about you or be privy to
your innermost secrets. On the contrary, you
can be quite protective of the “real you” -- that
person who cherishes privacy and intimate
relationships, and who can quickly tire of the
kind of life that is overly indulgent or in the
public eye.
TUESDAY, MAY 17
TAURUS (April 20-May 20) -- Others are
sure to recognize something special you have
that is unique to you. Today’s the day to make
use of it most creatively.
GEMINI (May 21-June 20) -- You’re eager
to be treated as one of the “team,” but you’ve
not yet been invited to join. What can you do
to ensure you will be by day’s end?
CANCER (June 21-July 22) -- Let your
actions speak louder than words today and
you’ll surely win the respect of someone
you’ve long looked up to as a guide and men-
tor.
LEO (July 23-Aug. 22) -- You want to get
up and go today -- but where? Let yourself
wander a bit, and you’ll discover that you do
have something of an agenda.
VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22) -- It’s a good
time to let others influence you as they will
-- up to a point. You have something to learn
about group dynamics today.
LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22) -- You’ll surely
want to remember the little things today, even
if they don’t seem to matter in the moment.
That won’t be the case later on!
SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21) -- You may
find yourself in a difficult position where
your personal affairs are concerned. Someone
has misinterpreted the truth as a lie.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21) --
Difficulty you encounter today can actually
do you a great deal of good -- especially if
you’re receptive to any kind of criticism.
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19) -- You
must keep your promises today -- in business,
in love, in all things. It may be difficult, but
too much hangs in the balance.
AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18) -- You may
soon feel reborn in some sense, and today
you’ll want to take the opportunity to learn all
you can about the old you.
PISCES (Feb. 19-March 29) -- Time may
be working against you during the first part of
the day, but the clock becomes an ally later on,
when you are able to settle in.
ARIES (March 21-April 19) -- You may
want to conceal your honest reaction to a
certain chain of events today, until you know
precisely how others have been affected.
