“Verdict”
Set in 1980s Milan, this Italian crime drama
series tells the story of Alice (Arianna Be-
cheroni), a shy, awkward teen who becomes
the youngest member of a criminal orga-
nization, not for money, ambition or the
desire for power, but to gain the love of her
father. Antonio Gerardi, Dora Romano and
Lucia Mascino also star. (ORIGINAL)
From South America comes this crime dra-
ma series about Heloisa (Camila Morgado,
“Friendly Beast”), a lawyer who takes on the
defense of a murder and finds herself in the
middle of a trap that involves the leader of
a criminal group who has been targeted for
death. Fernando Alves Pinto, Lena Roque
and Rui Diaz also star. (ORIGINAL)
“Movie: The Spy Next Door”
“The Kids in the Hall”
Take “The Pacifier,” put Jackie Chan in the
Vin Diesel role, and you pretty much get
this action-comedy with the martial arts
star as a former CIA man who’s minding
his girlfriend’s (Amber Valletta) children
when he has to face an old enemy (Magnus
Scheving) again. A secret file, which the
kids get their hands on, also comes into
play. Billy Ray Cyrus and George Lopez
co-star.
The iconic Canadian sketch comedy series
literally returns from the dead — as the
series’ teaser indicates — for this offering
that brings back the original cast of Dave
Foley, Kevin McDonald, Bruce McCulloch,
Scott Thompson and Mark McKinney
and an impressive guest cast that includes
Pete Davidson, Catherine O’Hara, Kenan
Thompson, Will Forte, Jay Baruchel and
Mark Hamill. (ORIGINAL)
