YOUR BIRTHDAY by Stella Wilder
Born today, you may rarely, if ever, find
yourself in the spotlight, but you will almost
always be contributing mightily to the things
that go on around you at all times. You are no
wallflower, and you will not recede from view
entirely as you help another assume a rightful
place center stage. You will be there to play
the kind of supporting role every story
requires -- and you enjoy having maximum
impact without having to risk everything on
your own time.
MONDAY, MAY 2
TAURUS (April 20-May 20) -- A mistake
needn’t follow you any longer -- but you’re
going to have to come clean about something
you’ve been trying to hide for a while.
GEMINI (May 21-June 20) -- A complica-
tion can be overcome today, but not if you
overreact. Remain calm, and take the time to
track the evolution of what’s happened.
CANCER (June 21-July 22) -- You may
choose to do something that others have
refused to do -- but not to set yourself apart,
merely because it seems right to you.
LEO (July 23-Aug. 22) -- You may be
thinking too much about a single episode
when you should be considering the effects of
several that, together, are forcing some
change.
VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22) -- You’re not
about to let yourself be backed into a corner
today. Do what you can to anticipate what
others around you will do -- and act first!
LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22) -- An opportu-
nity passes you by today, but not before you
recognize certain aspects of it that you can
resuscitate before it’s entirely too late.
SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21) -- Others are
waiting for you to give them a thumbs-up --
but there’s more for you to think about, and
making a hasty decision serves no one.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21) -- You
are drifting ever closer to a point in which
you will either make a major discovery or give
yourself over to the status quo.
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19) -- Take
care that you don’t neglect your needs today.
You could use a little of what you’re dispens-
ing in order to ensure progress.
AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18) -- Another’s
desires may be in direct contradiction to your
own today -- but that only means that you’re
going to have to negotiate openly.
PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20) -- You’ll want
to avoid making an important decision
behind closed doors today. Transparency is a
valuable tool that serves you quite well.
ARIES (March 21-April 19) -- You can
hand someone a surprise today and get your-
self out of a tricky situation at the same time.
You’re surprised by what inspires you.
MONDAY, MAY 2, 2022
YOUR BIRTHDAY by Stella Wilder
Born today, you are almost always the first
person in any group to come up with the next
“big idea,” and even when it’s not one that
proves viable, you can bet that it will inspire
someone -- even yourself -- to keep thinking
and imagining until a viable notion is
hatched, and from that moment it’s just a mat-
ter of time until you and all those allied with
you are enjoying dramatic progress. Success is
a way of life for you, and you never get tired
of winning.
TUESDAY, MAY 3
TAURUS (April 20-May 20) -- The rules
are in place to guide you toward your desired
destination -- but it may not feel that way
during the first part of this complex day.
GEMINI (May 21-June 20) -- Someone
you know opens your eyes to a new possibility
today. You can explore freely, but you cannot
change course completely overnight.
CANCER (June 21-July 22) -- Your under-
standing of what’s going on around you
exceeds that of most who are in the thick of
things. You must maintain this objectivity.
LEO (July 23-Aug. 22) -- You may be fac-
ing the unexpected before you know it today,
and this will require you to take steps for
which you don’t feel entirely ready.
VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22) -- You’re eager
to explore more freely all that you believe is
available to you at this time, but you may be
misinterpreting certain facts.
LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22) -- Take care that
what someone says about you today doesn’t
affect your own self-esteem. You needn’t be
touched by anyone’s odd perceptions.
SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21) -- You may
have to keep a number of balls in the air today
as you juggle multiple tasks, but “busy”
doesn’t always mean “productive.”
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21) -- You
must send a clear message to someone else
today if you’re going to prevent a conflict
from getting out of hand and involving oth-
ers.
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19) -- Look in
the mirror today and make a list of the fea-
tures that stand out to you; these will enable
you to understand yourself much better.
AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18) -- You
needn’t say a lot today to send an urgent mes-
sage; in fact, the less you say, the better.
Choose your words and timing with great
care.
PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20) -- The per-
sonal and the professional may become some-
what tangled today, but a family member is
available to help you sort things out.
ARIES (March 21-April 19) -- Any prom-
ises made today must be kept, as you cannot
afford even any slight damage to your reputa-
tion as a reliable straight shooter.
