BAKER CITY — The monthly
community drum circle is hap-
pening Saturday, April 2, 4-6 p.m.
at Churchill School, 3451 Broad-
way St. No drumming experience
is necessary. Participants are wel-
come to bring a drum, or borrow
one provided by the Art Roamers.
This event is free; masks are
required inside the building.
OLDIES NIGHT DOUBLES
UP WITH EAGLES, THREE
DOG NIGHT
MILTON-FREEWATER — Re-
gardless of what mama tells you,
be sure to attend the upcoming
Oldies Night in Milton-Freewater,
featuring the hits of Three Dog
Night and the Eagles.
BJ the DJ will spin tunes from
the two Los Angeles-based pop
groups. The free event is Saturday,
April 2, 7-10 p.m. at Wesley United
Methodist Church, 816 S. Main St.
The Eagles placed two dozen
songs on the Billboard Hot
100 charts, including fi ve that
peaked at No. 1. “Hotel Califor-
nia” was the biggest. In all, you’ll
hear 17 Eagles tunes.
But that’s not all, there will be
23 hits by Three Dog Night. The
group had three chart-toppers,
including “Joy to the World,”
“Mama Told Me Not to Come”
and “Black & White.”
Disc jockey Bob Jones also
will share about the groups,
their songs and the times. For

THE BEAT GOES ON WITH
JAM NIGHT
PENDLETON — Be sure
and mark your calendar for the
upcoming Jam Night. Held the
fi rst Thursday of each month at
Pendleton Center for the Arts,
musicians of all skill levels are
invited to get their groove on.
A free drop-in event, the next
Jam Night is Thursday, April 7,
7-8:30 p.m. at 214 N. Main St.
Musicians are invited to grab
their guitars, bongos, banjos,
mandolins or whatever they
have and join in the jam session.
Blues, rock, folk, country, pop
and more will fi ll the air as par-
ticipants experiment with sound.

down for the Dave Nudo Band.
