stars Samson Kayo and Jane Horrocks as
mismatched paramedics at a south London
emergency service adds Katherine Kelly
(“Liar,” “Innocent”) to the cast as the ambu-
lance station’s acting counselor. Lucy Punch,
Julian Barratt, Adrian Scarborough and Aas-

From writer/director Reinaldo Marcus
Green (“King Richard,” “Joe Bell”) comes
this 2018 crime drama that tells the story
of the police killing of a Black man from
the perspectives of a bystander who filmed
the act, a Black cop and a student athlete
inspired to take a stand. John David Wash-
ington, Anthony Ramos, Kelvin Harrison
Jr. and Chanté Adams star.
Inspired by a true story, this limited series
stars Elle Fanning (“The Great,” “Malefi-
cent”) as Michelle Carter, who in 2017 was
convicted of involuntary manslaughter for
encouraging via text message the suicide of
her boyfriend Conrad Roy III. Chloe Sevig-
ny, Colton Ryan, Cara Buono, Kai Lennox
and Norbert Leo Butz are also in the cast.

“Movie: Killing Them Softly”
It’s not very smart to steal from mobsters,
as the protagonists of this gritty 2012 tale
appear destined to learn the hard way. Brad
Pitt plays an underworld enforcer sent after
the novice criminals who robbed a mob-re-
lated card game. Two veterans of celebrated
gangster sagas, James Gandolfini and Ray
Liotta, also star.
