“Wheeler Dealers”
From Great Britain and Motor Trend
comes the inaugural round of this
documentary series in which the
hosts, former car dealer Mike Brewer
and mechanic Edd China, seek out,
purchase and repair or improve classic
vehicles — within budget of course
— and then resell them, hopefully at a
profit.
“Baking With Julia”
Julia Child is the host of this series that
originally aired on PBS stations from
1996 to 1999, in which each episode
would feature a baker or pastry chef
demonstrating professional techniques
that can be performed in a home
kitchen. Among those appearing are
Martha Stewart, Norman Love, Marcel
Desaulniers, Gale Gand, Naomi Duguid
and Jeffrey Alford.
“Movie: Joe Bell”
Director Reinaldo Marcus Green’s
(“Monsters and Men”) 2021
biographical drama tells the true story
of Bell (Mark Wahlberg), an Oregon
father who embarked on a cross-country
walk to New York to pay tribute to
his gay son Jadin (Reid Miller), who
committed suicide, and speak to citizens
in the Heartland about the true cost
of bullying. Connie Britton, Maxwell
Jenkins and Gary Sinise also star.
