UNION PUTS ON ANNUAL
WINTER WONDERLAND
UNION — Winter Wonder-
land comes to Union this year
on Saturday, Dec. 4, featuring
vendors and music from noon-
4:30 p.m. at the Catherine
Creek Community Center and
a downtown lighted parade
at 5 p.m. followed by the tree
lighting. Afterward, head over
to Hometown Hardware for the
VFW chili feed. Buff alo Peak
Golf Course also is hosting an
open house from 6-8 p.m. with
holiday treats and shopping.
LA GRANDE LIGHTS THE
TREE ON DEC. 3
LA GRANDE — La Grande’s
holiday parade begins at 5
p.m. Friday, Dec. 3, on Adams
Avenue from Hemlock Street
to Max Square for the light-
ing of the Christmas tree and
festive music by the La Grande
High School Choir. For one
Henneke will give free carriage
rides (fi rst come, fi rst served).
More opportunities for a free
carriage ride in downtown La
Grande will be off ered Dec. 11
from 1-3 p.m. (loading in front
of La Grande City Hall) and Dec.
18 from 2-4 p.m. (loading in
front of Wells Fargo Bank).
