is comprised of four Soil and

Baker Valley, Burnt River,
Eagle Valley and Keating,

county. Each district is able
to provide technical, financial

local natural resource con-

economic sustainability for
the rural community while
preserving the pristine beauty
of Baker County. The SWCDs

owners and agriculture pro-
ducers implement voluntary
conservation projects through
grants and USDA programs.

YOUR BIRTHDAY by Stella Wilder
Born today, you have more going for you
than may at first meet the eye, but like so
many Sagittarians, you actually enjoy being
something of an enigma, and you’ll learn over
time to turn the cloak of mystery into
opportunity -- again and again. The fact that
there is much that other people don’t know
about you also gives you quite an advantage in
a competitive situation, which is fortunate
since you are, at heart, quite a competitive
individual.
MONDAY, NOVEMBER 29
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21) --
You’ve been drawn to someone for reasons
you cannot quite fathom -- but today some of
the mystery is solved. Explore further.
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19) -- Your
goals and aspirations are quite clear at this
time, but that doesn’t mean others know what
you want. Tell your story!
AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18) -- You can
acquit yourself quite well today by relying on
the knowledge you’ve amassed through
recent experience. It’s time to do your thing!
PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20) -- You may
not be able to cover all the bases today, so
getting the right help at the right time will be
important. All options are open.
ARIES (March 21-April 19) -- You needn’t
resist the temptation to show off just a little
today. Others are ready for you to put on a
show -- and you surely can!
TAURUS (April 20-May 20) -- It’s time to
realign your priorities today so that you are
working toward a certain goal in a logical
fashion. You can do what you want to do.
GEMINI (May 21-June 20) -- In an
attempt to do what others have not done you
are likely to overburden yourself today. You
must know where your boundaries really are!
CANCER (June 21-July 22) -- You can
achieve much more today if you time your
efforts to coincide with those of another.
Teamwork doesn’t require proximity at this
time.
LEO (July 23-Aug. 22) -- Certain situations
will demand a bit more critical thinking than
usual today -- but this is a requirement that
you’re surely able to fulfill right now.
VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22) -- You may
come to a surprising conclusion today after
examining all available evidence. Perhaps
there’s a piece of information still missing.
LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22) -- You’ll have to
learn from others today if you’re going to
keep up -- and you have just enough at stake
to inspire you to do all you can to do so.
SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21) -- Don’t
assume that because you’ve done something
before it will be just as easy this time. Things
have gotten much more complicated recently.
MONDAY, NOVEMBER 29, 2021
YOUR BIRTHDAY by Stella Wilder
Born today, you are one of those fun and
sometimes fearsome individuals who marches
to the beat of your own drum, and behaves in
a way that simply cannot be easily summed
up or pigeonholed by those whose characters
are more traditionally formed and forged.
Those who are like you, however, recognize
all that you have going for you -- for they
share those attributes, and it is quite likely
that at times you will find each other and
collaborate in ways that are remarkably
successful -- and, quite likely, largely original.
TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 30
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21) -- You
are capable of being quite secretive, but that
approach isn’t likely to work for you today.
Are you willing to share everything?
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19) -- You are
aware of what is going on around you, and
what it means in the short-term and the long
run. Answer the question: How do you fit in?
AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18) -- You may
get the feeling that there is no place for you
right now, but that’s a shortsighted view;
you’re overlooking some hidden options.
PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20) -- Keeping
things under wraps may make you feel
protected for a while, but today it’s likely to
expose you to some hidden dangers best
avoided.
ARIES (March 21-April 19) -- You want to
be working for the “greater good,” but you
must first define what that means. Your
instincts tell you where the answer lies.
TAURUS (April 20-May 20) -- You are
eager to gain the attention of someone who
can help you either professionally or
personally; the means to do so present
themselves today.
GEMINI (May 21-June 20) -- You may be
guilty of betraying someone’s trust today --
but in a way that you are currently unaware
of. Sometimes, what’s unsaid matters most.
CANCER (June 21-July 22) -- You may
have to complete some homework very
quickly today before engaging others in
activities that will challenge them in a
fundamental way.
LEO (July 23-Aug. 22) -- You may receive
a directive today from the powers that be that
rubs you the wrong way. Don’t let this fester;
it’s surely something to talk about!
VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22) -- If what you
want is truly within reach, then you can have
it today -- but first you may have to give up
something of equal value.
LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22) -- It’s time for
you to come clean with someone about a past
error. This is not so much a “confession” as an
opportunity to avoid future mistakes.
SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21) -- You’ve
been sending out warnings on a regular basis,
and today is the day for you to do what you’ve
been considering doing. Take a chance.
