“Hit-Monkey”
Regarded by many critics as “spaghetti”
Western director Sergio Leone’s masterpiece,
this 1969 saga is notable for its casting of
typical screen good guy Henry Fonda as a
savage gunman. His presence means nothing
good for a woman (Claudia Cardinale)
whose inherited land stands in the way of
the railroad he works for. Jason Robards,
Charles Bronson, Gabriele Ferzetti, Jack
Elam and Keenan Wynn co-star.
Based on the Marvel Comic, this adult
animated series from creators/executive
producers Josh Gordon and Will Speck
(“Cavemen,” “The Power Inside”) follows
a Japanese snow monkey with martial arts
skills who seeks vengeance against the
humans that killed his family. George Takei,
Jason Sudeikis, Olivia Munn, Ally Maki,
Nobi Nakanishi and Fred Tatasciore head
the voice cast. (ORIGINAL)
“The Great”
“The Curse of Von Dutch”
Andrew Renzi (“Ready for War,” “They
Fight)” produced and directed this three-
part documentary series that chronicles the
incredible but true story behind the rise and
fall of the 2000s most iconic fashion trend,
Von Dutch, a brand that Venice Beach
surfers, gangsters, European garmentos and
Hollywood movers and shakers all fought to
control. (ORIGINAL)
The sophomore round of this historical
comedy finds Catherine (Elle Fanning)
finally ascended to the Russian throne
and trying to liberate a people that
apparently doesn’t want to be free. She’s
also fighting battles with her court, her
team and even her own mother (guest star
Gillian Anderson) in an effort to bring the
Enlightenment to Russia. Nicholas Hoult
also stars. (ORIGINAL)
