What’s Available NOW On
“Movie: Lansky”
Harvey Keitel (“Bugsy”) does solid work
in director Eytan Rockaway’s (“Angel
of Mine”) otherwise lackluster 2021
biographical drama in which he stars as
the notorious gangster, who late in his
life tells his story to the broke writer
(Sam Worthington, “Avatar”) penning his
biography. John Magaro, AnnaSophia Robb,
Minka Kelly and David Elliott are also in
the cast.
“Movie: Akilla’s Escape”
From Canada comes this 2020 crime
drama about a drug dealer who finds his
moral code challenged when he interrupts
an armed robbery and captures one of the
perps, a 15-year-old gang member. Saul
Williams, Thamela Mpumlwana, Donisha
Claire Prendergast and Vic Mensa head the
cast for director Charles Officer (“Unarmed
Verses”).
“Movie: Wanderlust”
“Movie: Cowboys & Aliens”
Jennifer Aniston and Paul Rudd star in
this racy, amusing 2012 comedy from a
master of that combination, producer Judd
Apatow. The stars play a suddenly income-
less Manhattan couple who hit the road to
visit relatives and, en route, come across
a commune where the residents preach a
free lifestyle ... for which clothing is not
required. Alan Alda, Malin Akerman and
Justin Theroux co-star.
The title of director Jon Favreau’s graphic-
novel-inspired 2011 merging of sci-fi and
Western leaves little doubt as to the groups
that clash in it. A stranger (Daniel Craig)
sporting a strange wristband may prove to
be the salvation of a town ruled by a tyrant
(Harrison Ford) and invaded by unwelcome,
otherworldly visitors. The cast also includes
Olivia Wilde, Sam Rockwell and Keith
Carradine.
