YOUR BIRTHDAY by Stella Wilder
Born today, you are always eager to take
your place among the movers and shakers,
wherever you may be and whatever you might
be doing. You are driven to engage, perform,
keep busy and insert yourself into the kinds of
things that you consider important -- whether
or not you are asked! There are those who
would call you impertinent or intrusive, but
you simply cannot resist the call of any situa-
tion that is active and complex; you want to
take part and to be as influential as possible.
MONDAY, OCTOBER 11
LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22) -- Someone you
know only in passing plays a far more impor-
tant role than usual in your affairs today.
Luck, too, enables you to avoid a conflict.
SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21) -- Money
matters are on your mind through much of
the day, and you’ll want to control those urges
to spend what you do not have. Play it smart.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21) --
Certain things are to be done in certain ways
today and, if possible, at certain times. Don’t
play fast and loose with your schedule!
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19) -- You are
able to solve a problem the old-fashioned way
today -- but you mustn’t make the mistake of
thinking this is now the only way!
AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18) -- If you’ve
been given a certain amount of time in which
to perform a task, you needn’t try to get it
done more quickly. Stay relaxed.
PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20) -- Someone is
likely to come to you with a problem that you
recognize as being more urgent than anyone
else has acknowledged. Get to work!
ARIES (March 21-April 19) -- You may
have to travel longer distances in less time
than you had originally planned -- but you
have the means to do just that today.
TAURUS (April 20-May 20) -- You cannot
afford to skim over the details today -- espe-
cially where instructions are concerned. Take
the time to get things done correctly!
GEMINI (May 21-June 20) -- The closer
you think you are to an important personal
goal, the further away it actually is -- and
why? Remember: Thinking is not the same as
doing!
CANCER (June 21-July 22) -- You may
well be “in the groove” today, despite anoth-
er’s warnings that you’re facing something
dangerous. You can avoid serious mishaps.
LEO (July 23-Aug. 22) -- You have only
one person to thank for leading you away
from serious personal danger, and you should
do it in a way that will be remembered.
VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22) -- You may be
disappointed to learn today that you are no
closer to your destination than you were yes-
terday -- but there’s a good reason for that.
MONDAY, OCTOBER 11, 2021
YOUR BIRTHDAY by Stella Wilder
Born today, you are an upright, forthright
and, as far as you are concerned, mostly right
individual who never shrinks from a crisis
and who is always ready to jump into a situa-
tion in defense of someone who needs help
-- whether or not it has been asked for. Your
beliefs are marrow-deep, and you’re not one
to alter them without the presentation of
absolute proof that an alternative is, in fact,
the correct way of thinking about a given
issue.
TUESDAY, OCTOBER 12
LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22) -- If it comes to
you once today, it’s likely to come to you twice
or three times -- provided you are able to
recognize it at first sight.
SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21) -- You’re
ready to reveal something to a friend or loved
one that you’ve been sitting on for quite some
time. Openness can only do you good!
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21) -- You
have a surprise in store for someone today
that is sure to get everyone’s blood pumping
-- and you can’t wait to unveil it.
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19) -- You
must do what you have to today to lock in
certain details that you cannot afford to forget
in the hours -- and days -- to come.
AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18) -- You may
not be doing things exactly according to
schedule today, but your methods may soon
be adopted by others because they are so
effective.
PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20) -- You may
have to put your needs aside for the time
being today in order to help someone whose
situation is much more urgent than your own.
ARIES (March 21-April 19) -- There’s no
reason for you to hide who you are today, or
act any differently in front of others than you
ordinarily do. Be as honest as you can!
TAURUS (April 20-May 20) -- You may
simply have to pound out a piece of work as
quickly as possible today without giving too
much thought to the finer points.
GEMINI (May 21-June 20) -- You may be
caught off guard today by someone who is
willing to tell you far more than you think you
have to know. You may want to reciprocate.
CANCER (June 21-July 22) -- Give your-
self a little more time today, if at all possible,
to complete a task that usually doesn’t even
require much thought or preparation.
LEO (July 23-Aug. 22) -- You’ll be
impressed by the way someone approaches
their work today, and you can borrow an
observed technique as you start a new project.
VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22) -- You may
suspect that someone is trying to get the best
of you by doing that which is unacceptable or
even illicit. Keep your guard up.
