When a young loner (Patti Harrison, “A
Simple Favor”) becomes a surrogate mother
for a single man in his 40s (Ed Helms, “The
Office”), the odd couple realize that this re-
lationship will challenge their views on love,
connection and boundaries in this 2021
comedy from writer/director Nikole Beck-
with (“Stockholm, Pennsylvania”). Rosalind

Grain engulfment, where grain shifts be-
neath someone’s feet in a silo and literally
swallows them, is a horrifying way to die
and it’s at the center of this 2019 thriller.
Here, the victim is teenage Cody (Jack Di-
Falco, “The OA”) and residents of his farm
town try to save him. Jeremy Holm and Jill
Paice also star for first-time feature film-
maker Marshall Burnette.
A charismatic grifter (Ronnie Gene Blevins,
“The Middle of X”) takes in a group of
runaways and teaches them how to be vigi-
lantes and wreak havoc on the drug dealers
that have taken over Central Florida in this
2020 thriller from Jon Carlo in his feature
film directorial debut. AnnaLynne McCord,
Octavio Pisano and Jaden Piner are also in
the cast.

finds Bobby (Ashton Sanders) trying to
push through challenges and resentments
among his group to lead his crew along the
road to music stardom. Shameik Moore,
