OSEPH — Car enthusiasts
will surely fl ock to Joseph
for the 32nd Wallowa Mountain
Cruise on Friday and Saturday,
Aug. 27 and 28.
Presented by the Joseph
Chamber of Commerce,the car
show will feature hot rods, cus-
tom or modifi ed cars and trucks,
classic or restored cars, pre-1970
classic cars (with original paint,
interior, chassis and engine),
sports cars, moonshine haulers
and four-wheel-drive vehicles.
On Friday, Aug. 27, registration
runs from 4-6 p.m. outside the
Joseph Community Center at the
corner of East First and South
Lake streets. Registrants can pick
up their packets, goody bags,
itinerary and parking information
while enjoying complimentary
beverages and snacks. Beer and
wine will be available for pur-
chase.
The Wallowa Mountain Cruise
street dance is from 6-10 p.m. Fri-
day, taking place near the Com-
munity Center with live music by
the band Good Question. The

Cars roar into Joseph for 32nd
Wallowa Mountain Cruise

On Saturday, Aug. 28, the car
show runs from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. on
Joseph’s Main Street. Voting is
between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m., and
Good Question will again per-
form, from 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
Following the car show is
the Ragman Memorial Cruise to
Enterprise and back. The group
drive is in honor of Jim Tuschhoff ,
one of the Wallowa Mountain
Cruise’s founders.
Saturday night the awards
and a raffl e will be held near the
Community Center parking lot
from 5-6 p.m. A catered dinner for
purchase will be served outside
starting at 5 p.m.
All downtown Joseph events
are open to the public.
