“Movie: Unsane”
Claire Foy continues to prove her
versatility in this quirky Steven
Soderbergh-directed 2018 psychological
horror film in which she plays Sawyer
Valentini, a woman who seeks therapy
after a traumatic experience with a stalker.
When she appears for her appointment,
however, she inadvertently signs a release
voluntarily committing herself to a 24-
hour stay at the behavioral center. Joshua
Leonard and Juno Temple also star.
“Nine Perfect Strangers”
“Movie: The Marijuana
Conspiracy”
Based on a true story, this 2020 drama
from writer/director Craig Pryce (“Good
Witch”) is set in 1972 and tells the tale
of five women who endured 98 days of
captivity to participate in an experiment
studying the effects of marijuana on the
female body and psyche. Brittany Bristow,
Morgan Kohan and Julia Stone head the
cast of the Canadian production.
Author Liane Moriarty’s bestseller served
as the basis for this David E. Kelley-
produced dramedy series set at a boutique
health-and-wellness resort that promises
healing and transformation to its stressed-
out city dweller clientele. Nicole Kidman
stars as the head of the place, in a talented
cast that also includes Melissa McCarthy,
Michael Shannon, Samara Weaving,
Luke Evans and Bobby Cannavale.

“Movie: Jungleland”
By day, former pro boxer Walter “Lion”
Kaminski (Jack O’Connell) and his ex-
con brother and manager Stanley (Charlie
Hunnam) work menial jobs in a factory,
but at night they shoot for a bigger payday
in underground boxing matches. After they
have a falling out over a covert bet Stanley
has placed on Lion, a gangster (Jonathan
Majors) tries to exploit their tensions for
profit.
