the Spring Artisan Market
■ See the offerings Saturday, May 8, in Joseph
JOSEPH —With fl owers emerg-
ing and Mother’s Day just around
the corner, a group of local women
handcrafters are coming together
to host a Spring Artisan Market in
Joseph.
The market will take place
outside — rain or shine — on
Saturday, May 8, from 10 a.m. to 4
p.m. next to Stein Distillery, 604 N.
Main St.
Offerings will include pottery,
jewelry, fi ne art prints and cards,
felted wool creations, handmade
aprons, wood burned art, and hand-
made skincare products.
Artisans include Terra Leven
with TL Pottery, Annie Robinson
with Annie Southfork Silver-
works, Nicole Freshley with Magic
Woodland Studio, Toni Jones with
Happy Earth Wool Company,
Nikki Beachy with Beachy Studio,
Erin De Long with Life and Other
Doodles, Kolle Riggs with Kestrel
Arts, and Doneva’s Hummingbird
Designs with Doneva Bolen.
Many of these artisans have
been creating all winter and are ex-
cited to showcase their new wares.
“If you’re looking for a Mother’s
Day gift, or just want to celebrate
Wallowa County Spring, come sup-
port your local women artisans!”

MOTHER’S DAY SHOPPING
The Saturday before Mother’s
Day traditionally has some extra
shopping events in Joseph, but
plans are still tentative due to the
health guidelines.
However, all the stores on Main
Street are open. Wallowa County is
in the “low risk” level so indoor din-
ing is allowed at restaurants.
For specifi c offerings, be sure to
check with the various locations in
downtown Joseph.
