All classes will be capped at six students to en- sure physical distancing. Face cov- erings that cover nose and mouth are required for ages 5 and older. LEARN TO LOVE WATERCOLOR AND PASTELS Becky Mancino Litke leads this class on Wednesdays. There are two sessions: 3-5 p.m. and 5-7 p.m. Students can attend one or both — each session is considered a separate class. Litke will discuss elements to in- clude in a painting, which to leave out, how to use photos as reference, how to position subjects on paper for visual impact, and proper size paper for subject matter depicted. Cost is $16 per session for mem- bers, or $24 for nonmembers. YOUNG ARTISTS STUDIO Paul Hoelscher offers this class on Fridays from 1:45-3:45 p.m. for ages 10 and older. Media include acrylic, oil,and wa- tercolor paint; soft and oil pastels; charcoal, graphite, conte, colored pencil; and clay sculpture. The idea behind this ongoing class is to help young people make art the way that most interests them, with an artist who believes that everyone is artistic and who although ages 8-11 may attend for $5 with a paid adult. These cards are made using a napkin fold process and then can be individualized with color and photographs. These are a great use for old calendars and scrapbook papers. Cards folds up to fi t a stan- dard A2 envelope (three per person will be provided). Participants are encouraged to bring their own scissors and old calendars. The class for ages 6-8 begins April 6 and meets Tuesdays from 4-5 p.m. A class for ages 9 and older starts April 7 and meets Wednes- days from 4-5 p.m. Friedman will utilize very basic concepts of dance and rhythm and simple choreography based on a fusion of ballet, modern and jazz dance techniques.
