“Movie: Escape From Alcatraz”
Shot on Alcatraz Island, this 1979 film
is based on the true story of the only
escape from the maximum security
prison built on an island surrounded by
shark-infested waters. Clint Eastwood
stars as an inmate with an extensive track
record of prison breaks, belying the self-
important warden’s (Patrick McGoohan)
claims that Alcatraz is escape-proof.
Danny Glover plays an inmate in his
first screen appearance.
“Movie: Terra Willy”
From France comes this 2019 animated
space adventure about Willy, a boy
separated from his parents after the
destruction of their ship, who lands on
an uncharted planet and must figure out
how to survive with the help of a robot
until a rescue mission can be launched.
This Fox special follows chef Ramsay as
he embarks on a road trip with two of
his best friends, chef Gino D’Acampo
and restaurant staff manager Fred Sirieix.
The trio takes in the sights of the western
United States from their RV, exploring
hidden culinary gems in Arizona,
California, Nevada and other locales. It’s
a bromantic side of the famously grumpy
Ramsay most fans have never seen.
“Movie: Mighty Oak”
From director Sean McNamara (“The
Miracle Season,” “Bratz”) comes this
2020 comedy/drama that stars Janel
Parrish (“Pretty Little Liars”) as a young
woman who meets a guitar prodigy and
begins to think he’s the reincarnation
of her brother, who was killed years
earlier in a car crash. Carlos and Alexa
PenaVega, Tommy Ragen and Raven-
Symoné are also in the cast.
