“Movie: I Still Believe”
From Italy and director Giorgio
Serafini (“Johnny’s Gone,” “Hitting
the Wall”) comes this 2019 actioner
about a mysterious stranger who travels
to a remote village where his wife and
daughter were kidnapped 15 years
earlier. Dolph Lundgren (“Black Water”),
Cosimo Fusco (“Friends”), Marta
Gastini (“Compulsion”), Anna Falchi
(“Paparazzi”) and Bruno Bilotta (“The
Tourist”) head the cast.
This faith-based 2020 drama movie stars
KJ Apa (“Riverdale”) in the true story of
singer-songwriter Jeremy Camp and his
first wife (played by Britt Robertson).
He knew of her bout with ovarian cancer
before they wed, then they learned of the
progression of her illness following their
honeymoon, while his career was on
the rise. Melissa Roxburgh, Gary Sinise
and Shania Twain are also in the cast for
directors Jon and Andrew Erwin.
“Movie: Disappearance at
Clifton Hill”
From Canada and filmmaker Albert
Shin (“In Her Place”) comes this
2019 mystery about a young woman
(Tuppence Middleton, “Sense8”) who
returns to her Niagara Falls, Ont.,
hometown to run the family motel and
becomes obsessed with memories of a
kidnapping she believes she witnessed
as a child. Hannah Gross, Marie-Josée
Croze and Eric Johnson also star.
“Ramy”
Season 2 of this comedy series finds
Ramy (Golden Globe winner Ramy
Youssef ) delving deeper into his journey
as a young New Jersey Muslim caught
between his religion and his secular
generation, finding a new Muslim
community and embracing a deeper
commitment to his faith. Mahershala
Ali, Mohammed Amer, Hiam Abbass,
Amr Waked and May Calamawy are also
