Ongoing Classes – Join at anytime! Wednesdays/ Fridays Ballet at the Lunch Hour Instructor: Ann Egger and Debbie Friedman Date/Time: Wednesdays and Fridays – Noon-1:00pm (check calendar and Facebook for class updates) Cost per class: $8 members/ $12 non-members Wear clothing suitable for movement and ballet slippers or some protective footwear if you have it. This will be a very basic introduction to Ballet Technique for Adults and teens. We will focus on stretch, strength, simple positions and movements. As the class progresses and if there is interest, we will include adaptations of classical variations. Ballet is excellent for toning and fl exibility. Be the ballerina or danseur (male) you always envisioned, without the pain and stress! Thursdays Country Western Dance Instructor: Luke Coomer Date/Time: Thursdays - 6:00-8:00pm Cost Per Class Session: $10 members/non-members $15 Ages: 13 and up All participants should come dressed in comfortable workout clothes, and ready to have fun! Closed toed shoes are REQUIRED. Course Description: Country Western is a versatile style of social dance, perfect for weddings, rodeos, fairs, and all other social events. Not only does it provide an excellent, enjoyable form of exercise, it is also a great way to meet new friends and socialize! In this class, we will explore country Swing, Two Step, Cha Cha, Horseshoe and Scottische, as well as a dozen or so line dances. Everyone 13 and up is welcome! No experience or partner necessary. Or towel! Or Blanket! Or Rug! Minimum number of students: 1 Maximum number of students: 20 Costs: $8 per session members, $12 non-members Course Description: Learn to lead with love. Gypsy Jive Yoga is a beginner friendly, slow and controlled vinyasa class. However, be prepared to crank up the heat. The focus of this class is to challenge, yet improve posture, mobility, and perspective. You will fi nd a strong connection to your breath which binds you to a powerful yoga practice. All levels of participants welcome. Come to class with your yoga mat and have fun fl owing to music that makes you move! Ask instructor for details. Maximum number of students: 10 Class Description: Young people come to an open studio setting to learn and refi ne artistic skills with artist instructor Paul Hoelscher. The idea behind this ongoing class is to help young people make art the way that most interests them, with an artist who believes that everyone is artistic and who has enough personal experience to be supportive of many media and techniques. Media include acrylic, oil, and watercolor paint, soft and oil pastels, charcoal, graphite, conte`, colored pencil and clay sculpture. Come and create – the sky’s the limit!
