Titled “Victoria Small” in English, this
Argentine comedy follows four very
different women who agree to violate
surrogacy protocols and co-parent
a baby together. Luciano Castro,
Facundo Arana, Nicolás Francella,
Daniel Hendler and Julieta Díaz head
the cast.
“Movie: Euphoria”
Italian actress Valeria Golino (“The
Summer House,” “Fortuna”) co-wrote
and directed this 2018 Italian drama
about two distant brothers (Riccardo
Scamarcio, Valerio Mastandrea) forced
by circumstance to come together and
eventually learn they’re more alike than
they previously had thought. Isabella
Ferrari, Valentina Cervi and Jasmine
Trinca are also in the cast.
“Movie: The Little Hours”
“Clifford the Big Red Dog”
Set in the Middle Ages, this 2017
comedy stars Dave Franco as a young
servant, on the run from his master,
who takes refuge at a convent full of
unstable nuns who find his presence
too distracting. The solid cast includes
Alison Brie (“GLOW”), Kate Micucci
(“The Last Hurrah”), Aubrey Plaza
(“Parks and Recreation”), John C.
Reilly (“Moonbase 8”) and Fred
Armisen (“Portlandia”).
Clifford, Emily Elizabeth and their
friends return for more adventures in
the new season, including a day at the
Birdwell Fun Fair, building the coolest
clubhouse ever, throwing a welcome
party for a new islander and turning
the sounds of a thunderstorm into a
song. No matter the situation, they
always know they can always depend
on one another in good times and bad.
