Great improvements have been
made in the Rogue River Hardware
store, the “Winchester Store," dur

floor system has been changed, with
adherence to the Winchester plan
The shelving, which formerly extend
ed to the ceiling, has been cut down
considerably.
Tahiti haVe been
placed throughout the store, on
wuich the stock is displayed, making
it much easier to exhibit the stock
of goods in the store. The office
has been changed from the side to
the rear center and is improved by
the addition of new office equipment,
including a Winchester filing cabi

AIR MUVKX VESSELS
LATEST INVENTION
London. Oct. 28.— (I. N. S.)—The
propulsion of a boat by air beneath
the waterline, recently demonstrated
in Ixtndon. will revolutionize marine
engineering, it Is believed.
The invention of an Australian
engineer, the device does away with
propelle'r shafting and thrust block,
thus saving frictional tosses in «peed.
An engine-driven blower in the
forepart of the boat forces air
through tubing running under the
bottom of the boat on e*ch side of
the keel, the air -passing through
thousands of holes In the tubing in
the after part of the boat, driving
the boat ahead.
