Mr. and Mrs. George Slover. Miss
Carlotta Wiseman and .Miss Louise
Roedel returned yesterday from a
1500-mile auto trip which took them
as far north ’as British Columbia.
Visits were made at Vancouver and
Victoria, as well as PorMand, Seattle
and other points. All were impress­
ed by the scenic attractions ot Brit­
ish Columbia and with the courteous
treatment accorded them by the Can­
adians.
The D. C. McIntyre and S. M.
Leonard families spent the week-end
at Bandon enjoying the ocean. They
report excellent weather at the
coast resort, spoiled to some extent,
however, by the great number of
forest fires burning along the road
to the coast, the breet* taking the
smoke to the coast. The ocean was
declared to be beautiful, with fine
roads all the way.

were in the city for a day last week.
