More Pears Shipped—
■ Twenty-eight more cars of pears
were shipped out from the city last
night, making the total so far ship­
ped out this season for the eastern
market 275. Denny & Co. are ship­
ping daily from the Roseburg dis­
trict comprising Myrtle Creek, Kid­
dle, Sutherlin and Roseburg between
eight and 10 car loads of green
prunes to the astern market, rout-
' ing them south to catch the daily

fruit train which leaves the Rogue,
