Reports are to the effect that a regular gold rush is being staged and Mr. Logan does not intend to pass anything up. He places some credence in the re­ ports which have been sent out con­ cerning the rich strike because of early stories which were circulated about a rich strike in that locality. During the Indian war. a miner is supposed to have found the ledge, but was thereafter unable to again find it. The story is believed to have a good foundation. ' The Logans were planning on a trip to California but this will be held up for a few days until Mr. Logan investigates the gold rumors.
