This word was received today by George Bar ton, from Senator C. L. McNary, of Oregon. The payment of awards was suspended last October and an additional appropriation needed to make possible further awards. A number of chrome operators and others in this district have war min eral claims which they will push. The bill will be sent to the house for further action. Statue to Be Unveiled— The dedication exercises and the unveiling of the equestrian statue, "The Circuit Rider,” will take place on Saturday. The statue was pre sented to the state by Robert A.
