this morning on his way to Gold Hill
where he will look into the condi­
tion of tho Gold Hill bank. Mr.
Bramwell states that he hopes to be
able to have the bank open within a
few days to again transact business.
It was closed down over a week ago
when it was found that the bank
could not meet some of its obliga­
tions due to the transactions of the
cashier, who was $10,000 short in his
accounts.
