There is not a man. woman or child in the Grants Pass district but takes pride in the belief that he fos- ters to the full extent the cause of better education. And the call for better facilities along educational lines has always l>een promptly met, just as it will certainly be met when the vote is to be registered that will provide funds for an Improved high school building. We have outgrown the present high school building. For several years it has been inade­ quate. But the plan adopted by the school board will salvage the struc­ ture by incorporating It in the pro­ posed new building. It is a wise pro­ vision, though unless done now, the old building might in a short time reach a condition that its utilization in the new one would be more dif­ ficult. The school population is growing as it has never grown before. New people are coming, and with proper school facilities we will get them even faster, and we will get the very best kind of people. Those who will take up ¿heir residence in the sur­ rounding country will seek schooling in Grants Pass. Good highways and the motor bus have put the high school in the reach of the suburban Junior C.
