they have been attracting consider­
able Interest. The work of cleaning
out the hole of the 50 remaining

The funeral qf William Von Hartz,
who died Wednesday, will be held

vice. William Von Hartz has lived
on the Crescent City road, about four
miles from this city since coming to
Grants Pass two years ago. He was
born in Diepolz. Hanover. Germany,
September 30. 1857, and Is survived
by a wife. Mrs. Lillie Von Hartz, a
son, Edgar, and a daughter, Mrs.
