NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that
Whereas, default has occurred tn the
conditions of that certain chattel
mortgage made, executed and deliv­
ered by A. N. Parsons, as mortgagor,
to 2nd Northwestern Finace Corpora­
tion. as mortgagee, bearing date of
Julv 1st. 1920, and being recorded in
Volume 5 of the Chattel Mortgage
Records of Josephine County. Ore­
gon, at pages 67 and 68 thereof, un­
der date of July 16th. 1920, said
mortgage having been given to se­
cure the payment of that certain in­
debtedness represented by five prom­
issory notes, as follows, to-wit:
Five promissory notes in the sum
of 1800.00 each, due two months af­
ter date, each of said notes bearing I
interest at the rate of Eight (8) per
cent per annum from maturity and
each thereof bearing date of July
1st. 1920. which said notes and
mortgage are in favor of the 2nd
Northwestern Finance Corporation,
which is now the owner and holder
thereof and which said company has.
by reason of the failure of the said
maker to pay all of said notes as
therein provided, elected in accord­
ance with the terms of said notes and
mortgage to declare the whole there­
of now due and payable, and
WHEREAS, there is now due, ow­
ing and unpaid on said notes and
mortgage and unto the 2nd North­
western Finance Corporation from
the said A. N. Parsons the principal
sum of 13,209.75, with Interest
thereon at the rate of 8 per cent per
annum from January 19th, 1921,
which said interest at the date here­
of amounts to *14.22, one note in the
sum of *800.00 and interest in the
sum of *128.04 having been paid
since January 19th. 1921, and the
attorney's fees necessarily incurred
in the foreclosure of said mortgage
in the sum of *300.00. making the
total aggregate sum now due. owing
and unpaid unto the holder of said
mortgage, to-wit: 2nd Northwestern
Finance Corporation, under said
mortgage the sum of *3,523.97.
NOW THEREFORE, the said per­
sonal property described in said,
mortgage, now situate at Grants'
Pass, Josephine County, Oregon,
namely:

the power of sale in said mortgage
contained, at public sale to the high­
est bidder for cash, on the 26th day
of August. 1921, at the hour of 10:00
o’clock a. m. of said day at Smith's
Garage located at the Southeast cor­
ner of Sth and H Streets in the City
of Granta Pass, Oregon, to satisfy the
debt secured by said mortgage above
set forth, together with any addi­
tions thereto on account of interest
and charges aocruing subsequent to
