of Mack Trimble which occurred at

Clifton in Clatsop county, Oregon, on
the 4 day of August. 1921. was an
occasion for deep regret to the »mall
circle of those who knew and loved
him, for to know him was to love him
Mack Trimble was a native of the
state of Oregon, having been born In
Canyonville on the 4th day of Octo­
ber, 185«. of an early pioneer family
Mr. Trimble, to use the popular
phrase "pulled himself up by hl» own
bootstraps" making continuous head­
way aU hl* life against the adverse
condition» of a pioneer day. He was
married In 'February. 1885. to Mar­
tha Lucia McVay of Crnacent City,
California, and to this union were
