There was a time when every farmer lived as a separate unit and tried to better his own interests at the expense of his neighbor. The time of 111 feeling has passed and has given way to a con structive era of cooperation and bet ter understanding among the farm ers The farm bureau, the farmers' selling associations, farm comunity clubs and other such farm activités mark this coordination of Interests. Thu latest movement In this line in the county is the work being done in the Illinois valley toward the for mation of a recreational association. The activities of an association of ! i this type would include the purchase ! of grounds, erection of grandstands . and the holding of some annual af 1 fair, such as a roundup. The farm- er has the pleasure side of life to think of as well as the business side and he has come to realize that more can be accomplished through com- m unity effort than by working as a unit. There are many families and varie ties of the shark. Some of these fam ilies are smaller, mure cowardly aud less successful as killers than other families, says the Kansas City Star. They are not especially tierce toward things that are bigger and stronger than they. The dusky sharks and the sand sharks are not believed to be mau killers, but they are mau eaters when the opportunity arrives. The largest and flercest shark is the great while shark.
