In underground galleries never be fore visited by white men, a human ■keletou has been discovered In Greet Crystal cave, in Hart county, Ken tucky. Coincident with the discovery of thc- bones was the Unding of s great under ground “cathedral" which, It Is said, will rival the wonders of Mammotii cave. Au avenue half a mile long and al most as level as s boulevard was found by explorers. The ’’estbedral” dome rises 200 feet above the bed of lhe cave. It Is on s terraced ledge above the floor of the newly discovered gal lery that the skeleton was unearthed from tieneath a pile of drift. Floyd Collins, on whose farm the cave was found, discovered the skele ton. Overturning ■ huge boulder which blocked a psHsageway, he thrust his torch into the a|>erture and crawled through. As far as tie could see the torch cast giant shadows on the walls. Others of the exploring party followed Collins and, leaving a signal Ore at the open Ing. they began Investigating the great underground passage. It was while looking for driftwood for the signal tire that the skeleton was unearthed. The skeleton was left undisturbed and Dr. E. D. Turner of Cave City was called to examine It. Danaher, president of the Ihinaher Lumber Company, was washed up by the tide today at the dock at the IMnaher mill. The body was attached to the piling by a rope. A card in a pocket said "At the end of lhe rope. C. D. D." Danaher was last seen alive last night. Hfs hat and coat had been left on the dock. The coroner said It was suicide.
