The beautiful new stage curtain
for the high school auditorium 111
be used for the first time next T ics-
day evening when the public shak
ing and musical departments of the
high school, assisted by the seniors,
will present a musical and dramatic
program.
This curtain is largely the gift of
the 1926 senior class, the public
speaking clLas of this year taking
the responsibility of the balance of
the cost. It Is hoped that the pro
ceeds of the entertainment next
Tuesday evening will meet the total
outlay.
The program to be presented will
appeal to those Interested In the
work of the young ppople and will
consist of one act plays by the public
speaking class, selections by the or
chestra, the girls’ chorus, the senior
girls’ double quartet, and a special
number by the seniors.
These various organizations are
under the direction of Laura Thomas
Gunnell.
