A warning of impending danger
was sounded at the meeting of local
business men addressed the other
day by Lloyd Riches, secretary of
the Oregon State Editorial Associa
tion, and a well known newspaper
man of the state.
The warning is one that behooves

also one which can be averted by

Mr. Riches is making a
business for the time being of show
ing up the proposed 5 per cent in
terest measure, and the boosting of
a measure which will minimize the
danger from the activities of the
non-oartisan league. This latter is
the market ommission act, of which
