Children will be the center of attention, and what is of fuore universal interest than children? The music for the meeting is to be given by the chil­ dren of the lower grades of all the Grants Pass schools. This means a musical program of much interest. The rest of the program is in charge of ’Ruth L. Corbett, home demonstration agent. Dr. Ralph Stearns will speak on "Child Welfare from the Doctor’s Standpoint.” In this connection he will tell of his experiences as a physician in various >arts of Chicago. Dr. Stearns has done extensive work along this line in Chicago and will have some In­ teresting and valuable thingy to tell us. Dr. Cora Melaine will tell us of the health conditions existing in our town. Dr. Mclatne as city health of­ ficer is in »dose toueh with our health conditions, eepeciallv the health of the school children, and will un­ doubtedly have a great deal to tell which every community-spirited tier- son should know. Miss Corbett will then speak on child welfare, stressing causes, sisrns and symptoms and results of malnu­ trition. Child welfare work is one of the major proje ts of the Farm Bureau which is to be carried out under the direction of the home demonstration agent. After a general discussion on child welfare.
