William O. Benjamin, aged
years, 5 months and 22 days, di>-d
at his residence at 610 Howard
street, Monday evening, January 12,
after months of suffering from car­
diac dro|>sy.
Mr. Benjamin was born in Harris­
burg, Oregon, July 20, 1866.
He
lived there during his boyhood and
yonng manhood, coming to Josephine
county about 12 years ago. He lo­
cated at Iceland, where he was unit-!
e<l in marriage to Miss Edith Green. I
Four children were born, all ot whom
survive, the family lived In Grants
Paas for several years past. Besides
the widow an<l four little ones, Mr.
Benjamin leaves an aged father and
two brothers and one sister, one
brother having lost his life in Frame
during the war.
Funeral services will tie held in
Hall’s chai>el Wednesday afternoon.
January 14th. at 2 p. m.. Rev. Joseph
